HIGHLIGHTS: USMNT🇺🇸 vs. CanMNT 🇨🇦 | October 6, 2026

The CanMNT closed out the September/October window with a 1-0 defeat to the USMNT in Minnesota on Tuesday.

After opening the window with a pair of wins against Chile and Peru, this is a frustrating result for Canada, who were unable to build on those performances in this game.

They started the match well, but found themselves trailing after 29 minutes, as Justin Ellis slotted home at the back post to put the US ahead 1-0.

From there, Canada spent most of the game searching for an equalizer, but despite a Luc De Fougerolles shot that hit the crossbar, and a Promise David header that sailed just wide, they were unable to find that goal, leaving them to suffer their first regulation defeat to the US since the 2023 Concacaf Nations League final (they lost to the US in the 2023 Gold Cup quarter-finals, but in a penalty shootout).

Here are your highlights from this one.
